Best Kids Movie I've Seen in a Long Time

My 8 year old, 6 year old and I went to see this movie yesterday. It was such an enjoyable movie for all of us. Really, the best kids' movie we've seen in a long, long time. As is typical in Disney movies, there is a little bit of scary violence with the (real) "bad" guy in the end, but it didn't seem to bother my kids at all. When the movie ended, they asked if we could watch it again right away and then buy it when it comes out on DVD, so they must have really loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good movie for a father/son night out at the movie theater

My husband and 8 year old son saw this movie with a couple of their friends and all enjoyed it. My son says he liked it because it was funny and not too violent. It was a good movie for a father/son night out. My son says that he can't wait for it to come out on DVD so that he can watch it again. It was a "feel-good" movie. My husband really enjoyed the movie too.

My six and eight year old children really enjoyed this movie, and I enjoyed watching it with them. The movie provided a lot of laughs for them, it was not scary and although my kids said that it "wasn't the best movie ever, it was pretty funny;" watching it was a fun way to kick off the Halloween season.

My husband and I went to this movie with my enthusiastic 8 year old son (a fan of the books and the other 2 movies) and his reluctant 6 year old sister. We all enjoyed it and I think my 6 year old daughter laughed the loudest. It is a silly family movie that we all enjoyed.

Overall, ParaNorman was a really good movie. It entertained the whole family. Scary but not too scary for our 6 and 8 year old. There were a couple of references between the teenaged characters that made me cringe as a parent watching with a 6 and 8 year old, but the comments and references seemed to go over my children's heads.
Pros well paced, great story

The whole family loved this movie! There are some scary scenes...children under the age of 3 might get really scared.
