Not what I expected

I heard so many people who thought this movie was good. I thought for sure I would like it too. I generally like Sci-Fi movies and the concept sounded good. Honestly though... I about left 3 different times during the movie. There was so much unexplained... like how we learned their language, etc. I just did not care for the way it was put together... all of the corresondents weighing in and reporting on the events and such was so phony to me. I had really hoped this would be a great movie but for me, sadly... it was awful.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I enjoyed the movie a lot but was left feeling like it ended so abruptly and with out the finesse that I am used to in the Harry Potter movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
