Lame Plot, but Loved the Muppets

The plot in this film was clearly lacking. It focused too much on the live actors and less on the Muppets, which is not a good formula for a Muppet film. The cameos should have been more spaced throughout the movie and added something to the plot instead of bunched into the end of the movie with little or no explanation for their presence. Having said this, I LOVED seeing the Muppets again. They stuck to their primary model which is to present a feel-good show. I also loved the interaction between Kermit and Miss Piggy. I hope to see them in more shows.

Vast Improvement Over Order and Prince

I loved this movie. It followed the book more closely than either Order of the Phoenix or Half-Blood Prince, which is refreshing. I credit the more active involvement of JK Rowling in this one for that and applaud everyone involved for keeping Yates more closely to the storyline. There could have been more dialogue explaining some of the action, which would have helped people who had either not read the books or who hadn't read them in a while to follow the plot, but overall it kept the action going and the viewer interested. Can't wait for Part 2!!!
