The drive to perfection drives this dancer mad. Outstanding character development. Film keeps you guessing... at least for the first 40 minutes or so, then it becomes somewhat predictable. And just when you think you've got it figured out, well another twist. Natalie Portman character is short on dialoge on she reaches deep within to release the Black Swan in all of its grotesque and disturbing perfection.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

King's Speach

A heart warming performance by little known actors in a classic indie production. The true story of how the Duke of York (who later becomes King George IV) overcame his lifelong speach impediment through the friendship and unorthodox help of Lionel Logue, an Australian speech therapist. The film draws the audience in with humor, compassion and raw emotion. The acting is honest, brilliant and captivating. Oscar material.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
