Good, but could be a rental

I suspect this movie will get panned by all of the "official" critics. It tries to be too many things...romantic, action-packed, funny, serious. See? I agree with many other reviewers here that if Cruise had gone more over-the-top one way or the other (comedy or action) the movie would have made more sense. It's a cute, summer movie, but does not stand out as one of Cruise's best. Or Diaz's best, for that matter. Though, according to their interviews with the press, "they had so much fun making it."
Yes, I recommend this movie.
