A most enjoyable performance of (admittedly)'work horses'.The orchestra was brilliant,Lang Lang performed sensitively and the Tjaikofsky's Nut Cracker Act ll was just right for the season.A most enjoyable experience indeed!

The Aida was musically a success--the voices outstanding as well as the orchestration.The mise en scene however was controversial with a little bit too much water--I assume the director meant to depict the Nile?All in all a memorable performance!

This was a delightful performance -the singers,orchestra,conductor were magnificent! Jonathan Miller;'s contemporary set was interesting,but in no way distracted from the beauty of the music and the high quality of performance.
