My 5-year old daughter was terrified at some scenes. I tried to leave the theater, but didn't want to make too much of a scene so I simply sat there holding her head into me and consoling her most of the movie. I learned my lesson about previewing movies before I take my children. Not only was the movie disappointing (scary, dark, inappropriate language/behavior), but the commercials/previews prior to the movie were totally inappropriate for a "G" audience. Sad, sad, sad. I will not be taking my kids to movies again for a long long time. Makes me want to watch Little Bear for an entire day to remind me that there are some sweet, innocent kids' characters out there.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
