2010 was a lackluster year for movies in my opinion. We saw this on 1-1, and it was the best movie I had seen all year!
I liked the interplay between all the characters, not just the main ones, such as between Bertie and his brother, and Rush and his wife and family. The whole movie was detailed and integrated in a way that many movies are not.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was surprised that I walked out of the movie with a better opinion of George than I had when I walked in. The movie showed a basically good man who just didn't have the savvy to read between the lines and decipher what his associates were telling him. He didn't really understand the agendas of the other people, and assumed that they were all out to do the best they could for America, as he was.
The acting was first rate, and many of the people came to life for me. Unfortunately, we didn't see the financial fiasco - that would be W - pt 2.
