I am a huge fan of the TV show and have been waiting for this movie to come out for years and I have to say that the wait and excitement (and ticket price) was WELL worth it! Though Hollywood changed up things here and there, all mostly to convert something from the eighties into a film for the present, but they did so with taste and, most of the time, an focused effort to keep the essence of the A-Team strong. Characters were great, very well done and stayed true to their originals in spirit The action was totally A-Team with car flips a-plenty, explosions and more! There were quite literally moments of laughter and applause for the outrageous and moment of sober, harsh reality that the show has always seemed to balance to delicately.
If I had one complaint, it would be that the film makers put this movie out for a new fan base and seemed to completely forget about the old. Things had to be changed, I realize that, but come one people, you had at least five openings to used old TV quotes and you didn't even think to! I guess the cameos (stay after the credits) make up for that though. Love you Dwight!!!
Great movie over all and I will be seeing it at least twice more in theaters. Go see it and be blown away but the awesome that is the A-Team!
