With a few parts that make you jump, its otherwise not scary imo. I still liked the movie but all the hype about it being terrifying is just so over-blown. It was a good plot and the story was very intriguing how they intertwined the two movies together. There were a few scenes from the previews that weren't in it. The part where the lady is sitting in the kitchen and then suddenly gets yanked and the part where the dog is barking at the girl(the sister main character in the 1st movie) in the bathroom door way close to the crib. Little stuff like that annoys me that doesnt make it into the movie but is shown in previews. Anyway it took a long time to get going but that wasnt the issue for the main issue was the hype behind this movie, in my opinion on the level of "scariness" its about the same as the first.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Look this movie was written by rodriguez in the 80's and was suppose to be the sequel to Predator but with the script on hold for 20 years it came to life. I am a die Predator fan and even have a tatto on my arm of one. Lets get some things straight the planet is not the predator planet its one they use to hunt on and also this movie "was" written a long time ago to be the sequel but with the AVP'S people get the wrong idea for this movie.The script has alot of the little things from the original because it was only fine tuned a couple years ago to go into production. Predators starts out very slow then manages to pick upI the thing i hate the most of the movies is that they make the predator too easy to kill and soft! Out of the 4 Predators in this movie 2 get blown up too darn easy! These guys are BadAZZZ and they get blown up by a russian and a dying "boobee trapped" topher grace? come on! anyway I like the twist they put in that has a "rift " in the predator race.I hate the fact that its always 3 or 4 predators i want to see alot! I remember watching the previews and seeing adrian brody's character standing there and had like 20 different infared dots from the predators plasma cannon on him made it seem like there was a bunch of predators hunting.The twist i like is the 3 that were hunting are against the one that was tired up , So if executives are paying attention it would be cool to have a war of predators.Lawrence fishburne's character was a waste of time and hoky.The predator dogs could have seen more of them and also more of the other creatures they capture and dropped off to be hunted. All in all im biast cause im a huge Predator fan but the movie could have been wayyy better! I like the fact the "rebel" predators had customized their own helmet like the one with the jaw on his mask , and the one with tusks. Producers need to make a Predator movie wit way more action quit making them soft , have 10+ predators in a movie, and quit making killing them off so easy!!!!! I liked the movie though because I love watching the predator on the big screen!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
