Quirky? Yes. Contrived? Quite often. But SO well acted, and often such believable dialogue, that it is a treat to watch. Andy Garcia is amazing as Vince. Juliana Margulies is wonderful as his wife. GO see it. You'll love it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
