As someone who has the entire SATC series on DVD (& rewatches it often) as well as the first movie, I have to say I was a bit disappointed in this installment. I have always found myself in each of the characters in some way, and that's why I loved the series. This movie, to me, was comparable to some of the episodes in the series that furthered the story, but you don't really have to pay attention to get to the next point. I don't know, but maybe I expected too much from this series that I absolutely love.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
