The first part of the movie was by and large disconnected and farcical, with some great scenes, ie. the senate hearings (reminiscent of Howard Hughs testimony in the 40's) They could have done a better casting job than Mickey Rourke (who I can't stand to watch since his botched plastic surgery.....he looks horrible), ie. Ivan Drago-Rocky IV. There seemed to be a lot of parallels in the first part of the movie to Downey's own life as in life imitates art imitates life, etc. The second half of the movie rocked with excellent storyline development and incredible action and graphics and made it worth the viewing. Overall I'd rate it a 3/5 stars. I must give a disclaimer here, in that I don't read the comics!!!
