SATC the TV series was always about sex, fashion, and fun and not much past that. That's what this movie is. If you're looking for the character development and plot arcs of the first feature film, you will be sorely disappointed (like I was). If you're looking for an extended 2 1/2 hour TV-like episode, then you'll be in luck. The ladies trot around in high fashion, fab shoes, and provide a few laughs here and there. The soundtrack is fabulous as is the scenery. You'll leave with a desire to travel and get together with the girls, but thats about all you'll get out of this film. For those on the fence, wait for rental. It's certainly not worth the high price of movie tickets these days.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
