I agree with everyone else who wrote reviews as far as "missing something". It just did not have the "pop" as the previous movies did. There was not enough 3D effects for the extra five bucks you had to pay, either. Depp was great, as always, with his character. This movie was just not as creative as the others. FYI-There is a little "something extra scene" at the end of the credits, as always in the pirates movies.

This movie was well written about "honest" lessons and true loyalty to friends. I liked this movie because it kept you awake during the whole show. Wonderful animation, colors, and scenes. Not too heavy on bad language. Another delightful Depp movie.

Anniston and Sandler did a great job together. My husband and I laughed all the way through it. Laughing does the soul good, especially in these stressful times. I recommend this movie to everyone.

This was a good movie although I do not understand why anyone would try to remake a John Wayne movie. No one does western's like the Duke. I would have rather waited to see this one on DVD, but, it had such a good overall rating, my husband just had to see it on the big screen.

Do not waste your money at the box office or buying/renting when it comes out. It's the most stupidest movie I've ever seen with even a more stupid ending. Very, very disappointing. I wish they gave refunds for bad movies, there would be a long line, I'm sure.

Oldies but Goodies

Kudos to Stallone! Excellent cast, writing, action, and fun poking. Can't wait for The Expendables 2. (I do hope there is going to be one).
For those who are weak on blood, guts and gore, this movie is not for you.
