yes things were over the top and you can always pick something apart, but my sister in law and i just loved it. it seemed all fluff at first but there were several serious messages underneath if you looked. the clothes were amazing, the locations awesome and the characters who they were. in other words it was sex in the city. the relationship, friendship, and love between these four friends is as strong as it was in the series which is what got my attention to begin with. the other stuff is just frosting on the cake. you can like it, love it, hate it, but it it did in my opinion delivery.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
