Such a powerful movie! I was nearly in tears several times during this flick. My son stutters - he's 8. So he is just now getting to that age where kids can be really cruel.
Anyway, this movie is a triumph! I was so happy to see how they really put the spotlight on something that is so common, but so challenging!
Colin Firth was amazing. Geoffry Rush was fantastic.
Funny, heart-warming, beautifully shot, great period film, excellent wardrobe... etc..!!!
I honestly did not know King George VI had a speech problem until now, and I'm really glad I have a film to be showing my little guy when he gets a bit older.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
