I'm heartbroken.

I've been a SATC fan for many, many years. I watched the first season, and followed the girls through all of their adventures over the last 15 years. I was at the first movie on opening day, and I loved it.
They shoud have stopped there. SATC II broke my heart. They took everything I loved about the story, tore it up, and took a dump on it.
Not only was the story line contrived, totally unbelievable, and outlandish, it was horribly disrespectful to an entire culture.
There were TWO good things about this movie: The shoes were gorgeous, and so was Aiden. I hate what they did with his character, too.
If you really want to go, be sure you get really drunk first. That might help. If you're a lifelong fan like me, please save yourself the heartache and pretend this movie never happened. I can't believe that they made these four strong, successful women into such disrespectful, self-absorbed, idiotic characters. It's a shame.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
