Pry your hands off of the arm rests!

If you want grip-your-seats, grab-your-nitro tab, fingernail-biting suspense...this is your movie. Wow! I walked out of the theater knowing that I would have to see this movie again. The actors were all up to the task and I still wonder if any of it was CG. It was based upon a true story and I don't yet know what was embellished. Either way, I'll be ready to jump into the ticket line for any movie like it in the future.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A good atempt at formula

There were things I liked and disliked about the movie. The problem that I have is that too much of the plot was flashback sequenced and character development depended mostly upon hero, sidekick, villain, and three absolutely abhorrent archetypes. For what it was, the movie did it's job.
People have more depth and thought about subjects, if you give them the chance. They will, however, sink as low as the subject matter/depiction when given the chance, as well. It's up to the director and writer to raise the bar.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

One way to fill the gap...

On it's own, this movie would not have held a pallatable story. As part of the X-Men Series, however, it did fill in the gaps from child to Wolverine the independent. The storyline gave plausible explanations for Wolverine's memory loss, the beginning of the rivalry w/ Sabretooth, how he received his adamantium bonding, and the destroyed lab. If this was your first X-Men movie, though, you would have been very confused by the end of the movie. You might not have known where any of it was taking you.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
