Overall, it wasn’t a bad movie but it wasn’t great either. The plot was so so it certainly opened the way for a 3rd movie but it did not provide the sparkle that Carrie keeps talking about in the movie! I went with 5 friends and we all liked it but there were many scenes that are not noteworthy….even the fashion didn’t thrill me too much…The events at the spice market may be funny but are also quiet disrespectful and show an exuberate selfishness, even though I have a feeling that the producers were trying to go somewhere else with that scene. Would I see the movie again? Maybe at home but definitely not at a theater…Unless you are die hard fan of the show you will be bored by the simple plot and the attempt to make a story work that felt like it wasn’t well thought about. I hope they will try again to redeem themselves!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
