Intense but confusing

I saw it today. Apprehensive to take my 7 yr old because I heard it was dark and disturbing.
Joker was intense. Ledger's acting was perfect. I was surprised to see Eric Roberts. He looks even more handsome these days.
Gary Oldman too! Freeman and Caine were flawless. Lots of action and violence. So many characters, I had trouble following the story. Couldn't figure out who was good, who was bad. Who was in love with whom? Who was doing what???? Had to read the reviews to figure it out. Overall, good movie.
Best joker I've seen.
My son liked it and wasn't too disturbed. I kept covering his eyes whenever I thought it was going to be too much. He didn't complain.

Intelligent, touching and down to earth.
Tells a great story and the characters were all identifiable. I was taken in by Juno. Her dad was wonderful, warm and as witty as she.
I had a little trouble with Bateman. Couldn't quite figure out where he was coming from but I think it was all good.
Don't miss it!
