Predictable but who cares

Watching Ironman 2 was as much fun as reading the comic book and then watching Ironman on Saturday morning growing up. One major difference, great special effects! While you pretty much knew where the movie was going the special effects, music score and Robert Downey Jr.'s quips more than made up for it. In the real world the good guy does not always win. This movie delivers a great shot in the arm for the good guys winning. Want more analysis? Then we would have to consider the underlying implications. Was it teamwork of selfishness, patriotism or socialism? What was the writer, director and hollywood really trying to say here? What is the real message? Not! Just enjoy the movie the good guys win and the bad guys get their butts kicked.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Wait for the DVD?

Everything about this movie was well done. The acting, plot, character development, filming and muscial score. I read nothing about the movie before seeing it. Therefore I was unprepared for the story to be the basis for the legend of Robin Hood. I typically leave theater going for the big action big scene movies. While quite enjoyable, I don't believe a blueray home viewing experience would dimish your viewing pleasure on this movie. I look forward to a follow up movie
