This was a good choice of movie for a nice rainy night. As others have said, it is definitely a "chick flick" with a pretty predictable plot, but it does however leave one walking out of the theater with a smile and a nice warm fuzzy feeling!
Vanessa Redgrave does a fantastic job with her role, and Amanda Seyfried isn't bad by any means. But I do agree, the male roles in the movie leave a lot to be desired.
Overall I think its well worth seeing if nothing else for the great job with the beautiful filming throughtout Italy!
