Reading the critics reviews I was anticipating a poor followup to the first film. I was very pleasantly surprised by the film and its actors! The addition of some humor was much needed, and made the cast far more more relateable. Who ever met a teenager who didn't have a good grip on quips and sarcasm??? Really enjoyed seeing a smile from Bella here and there and some teasing interplay between Bella and Edward. As they grow their relationship it adds some genuine moments. Nothing will ever match the breadth of the books but the adaptations were acceptable and probably neccesary. All in all - I was happy to have spent the money to go see it and look forward to the next one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
