I eagerly awaited the premier of this movie but after seeing it have to admit that my anticipation of it was more exciting than I found the movie. Being a fan of the show/movie #1, I enjoyed this movie allowing us to get a glimpse of the lives of 'the girls and their guys' since the end of the first movie. The clothes and shoes were awesome and seeing all of the cast again in these roles was so much fun; however, I was disappointed that the plot did not explore aspects of the character lives as I had hoped and as was done in the first movie. There actually seemed to be story lines which were hinted at, but never developed or explored as could have been done. Such expansion of these stories would have made the movie much more SATC-like. I also thought the trip distracted from the feel of SATC - I would have preferred them staying in NYC to focus on their lives and NYC. Despite all this, I still intend to purchase the DVD when released and see any future movies ..... after all, these are the next chapters in the SATC story and I don't want to miss a minute of it!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
