It Is What It Is and That's A Good Thing

Considering the marketing for this movie, I doubt anyone truly has high expectations, thus, you're guaranteed a pleasant surprise. I took my wife and my 13 year-old daughter and it was just what we needed...the action scenes were MIssion Impossible and the on-screen chemistry "completed" us. Terrific date-night movie with something for everyone. Just go see it.

While I'm a thrill seeker at heart when it comes to Summer Blockbusters, sequels generally fail on account of trying too hard. IM2 delivers a sound storyline (as sound as a comic adaptation can get), decent action sequences and quality performances by RDJ, Mickey Rourke and Don Cheadle. While I wouldn't call it "must see", it was certainly entertaining and worth the $5 "off-peak" price of admission.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
