This movie fulfills its role to bring all the stories in the series to a close, following the novel fairly closely for better and for worse. The build-up at the end of the film is nicely broken up by a contrasting dream sequence which hearkens back to several other famous films of the past. It's not likely that a non-fan of the series would watch it, and it would probably be baffling to them if they did.

The filmmakers did an excellent job at adapting a big sprawling novel to feature film length while at the same time enhancing the mood.

This movie was right up my alley, with a fascinating true-life story, gifted acting and directing, and emotional weight. A grown-up enjoyment.

A fairly well-written film with an interesting cast. The depiction of the technical implementation of the site was unusually free of the Hollywoodisms you usually see whenever computers show up. I think this will stick around for a few weeks as people who were waiting for their friends to see it will start coming to theaters too.

This was kind of like the old MST3K run with regard to the awfulness of the original material. Additionally it was great to see the guys live, flubs and all notwithstanding.

Decent action movie

I would say that the characters in this were more interesting and nuanced than in most summer blockbusters. It's got a loud soundtrack in parts, if that bothers you, and you should be prepared to pay pretty close attention to the complicated nested plots (or see it more than once)
