Pretty good story and unique date movie. Was fun to watch. Not a comedy, but just a good story about an interesting evening.
One BIG flaw is that they used high school characters and threw them into a college setting and often times it didn't make sense. The characters should have been college age in the first place, but I suppose they wanted a story reflecting the innocence of youth.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Some of the worst directing and even worse casting takes the already weak story (c'mon - the plot was written around ABBA songs!) and turns what should be a fun popcorn flick into one awkward scene after another. Watching Meryl Streep play a 40 year old who acts like an 18 year old gets tired pretty much after the first few scenes.
Go with low expectations and you will not be too disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
