Even though from the synopsis this movie seems far fetched, the writing, filming, and acting all make it extraordinarily believable. I laughed out loud at several points in the movie, but it was also poignant and moving as well. It has a feel good ending, but it's not at all saccharine and all of the characters were well constructed and the writing and editing were well thought out. I will definitely buy this movie when it comes out on dvd as it is one of those that I could watch over and over.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
