Touching film. Bravery and Comedy mixed.

I really enjoyed this latest take on The Karate Kid. Having grown up around the original, I wasn't sure how I would like it or if I would find myself comparing the original with Ralph Machio to this one. I was pleasantly surprised to find this new one stood strong on its own merits but easily could see why they did not call this one The Kung Fu Kid instead. It has many of the elements (most in fact) that made the original such a success. I loved this one for all of the comedy, emotion, and hard work you could feel Jaden Smith went through and Jackie Chan gave a masterful performance as well. Great film!

The Losers are really winners

Wow, if you like movies with lots of action, twists and turns and are tired of the same old plots that are so predictable....then you will like this move. It kept us guessing and thoroughly entertained us by alternating meaningful drama with comedy along the way and a good music soundtrack. Strap yourself in and get ready for a wild ride!

Great Movie!

I took my boyfriend and my best friend with me to see this and ended up sitting by chance next to some other friends I have known for 10 years but had not seen in awhile! We all loved the movie and felt it moved right along and kept our interest. The characters were likable and the comedic lines mixed into the story gave it a nice flow. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good ol' romance and clever dialog.
