Jon Favreau proves once again that he is the MAN to direct/oversee this franchise--I can't believe the studio nearly passed up on him to direct the sequel! Favreau's newest creation of Iron Man shows that he has a clear understanding and love for this comic--unlike some directors out there...
Storyline is great--somewhat touches on the "Demon in a Bottle" comic series and delivers with loads of comedy and plenty of action. IM2 is well on par with IM1--and then some.
Downey delivers once again, Johansson is smoking, Avenger references are made (ps-marvel fans stick around for the end of the credits), and after last summer's blockbuster disappointments...IM2 is the pick me up you need to reassure you that comic book movie adaptations are still worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
