This was a comic book movie?

The action was top notch. The acting was intense and believable with strong motivations. At first I didn't think that Kevin Bacon would have made a strong antagonist... but man, I believe he wasn't acting, and his smugness came through in spades!
Loved it, Will see again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
