Cool effects but...

Yes, it was visually very cool. Although I'm not sure what was so "new" about the technology. CGI has always looked fake to me and I guess it will continue to be that way. My real problem with the movie was the plot... I liked it better the first time when it was called "Dances with Wolves". And the one thing that was an original plot point, the fact that the Avatars are biological not virtual, was completely glossed over. This movie had potential but got so caught up in the effects that the rest of the movie elements (interesting dialogue, character development) were laughable. And to anyone who disagrees... two words... Flex Vector
No, I do not recommend this movie.
