It's a Nightmare Alright...

I was looking forward to seething this movie, having grown up with the original Freddy, I couldn't wait to see how they could improve with bigger budgets and better effect. However I was sadly disappointed, the original was terrifying.. this one was all too predictable. Not because it was a remake, but because you new exactly when they were gonna try to make you "jump" in your seat. I also felt as is they went too far with the child molestation aspect, I felt uncomfortable and creeped out during those scenes, not in a way that made you hate the character more, but in a way that made you want to leave the theatre. I'd pass on this one, unless you're so bored you're considering watching Demolition Man or something.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
