Great for kids

I took my 10-year-old grandson to see this movie and am happy to say it was one that we could both enjoy (he LOVED it and wants to buy it). While it was somewhat formulaic (as several reviewers have said), it had a good heart, beautiful artwork (including the dimensional stuff), a hair-raising climax, and a lovely idea (that sometimes the one who goes against the habits of generations can discover a wonderful new path for everyone).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
