Dont know whats up with the negativity in the other reviews. For this movie having a new Freddy, it was damn good. Dont know why people keep saying "it wasnt scary". This movie has been around for over 2 decades. Why the hell would it still be scary? Im an avid horror movie watcher and have been all my life. I've seen some great horrors that most people havent even heard of. This was a good movie and I think if you have an open mind (not one thats centered around the original), you'll enjoy it too. Just remember that this not a remake (director said that himself) and that its obviously not gonna scare you like the original did over 20 years ago (because your not a little kid anymore). Great actors, nice suspense and an overall great movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
