I am a great animal lover as is my daughter, who is 14. We went to see this movie with a friend and her son who is 5. They had to to leave because he was scared. My daughter and I were very disappointed in the movie and thought that Disney could have done a better job. We wanted to see all the beautiful things, we don't always need to see the unfortunate side of nature ie., a whale killing a seal. I think the rating of "G" was inappropriate and the movie certainly surprised and scared those younger than 10. Aliens of the Deep by James Cameron was a far superior movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
