In short, this movie is all the other Batman films ever wanted to be.
Not much keeps me awake at midnight, baby, but I was up happily until 2:45 enjoying a complex plot, very satisfying Bat-technology, oh, and Gary Oldman and Heath Ledger. Heath Ledger as the Joker was bone-chilling. I absolutely loved Harvey Dent/Two Face, and the graphics used to build (or rather expose) his face were stunning.
And Gary Oldman, well... I was already in love with him, and this just seals the deal.
Go see this movie. Really.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
