Wow! Best Kids movie I have seen yet!

I have to say, I was more than a bit surprised to find how excited I was to see this movie! This was our first family outing in IMAX 3D (I took my son and his two daughters (my granddaughters).
I found the theater (stadium seating) to be extremely comfortable. The room itself was small but more than adequate and the screen was all consuming in the room! The movie graphics almost overwhelmed me with emotion ; but, I was totally thrilled by the outstanding IMAX 3D graphics! I am in the 45-50 yr old bracket and knowing it was just a movie, still found myself dodging items and reaching out to touch things with my youngest granddaughter - they looked to be right next to us! It was truly amazing!
As for the movie itself, I was pleasantly surprised by it. I felt it had a wonderful story line that was not hard to follow and the characters were so believable. I thought I was going to just another kids cartoon movie but soon became very involved with the characters and the plot. I almost forgot it was a cartoon! I would definitely recommend this to everyone and wouldn't mind seeing it again myself! My granddaughters (9 & 6) both want a pet dragon now!...maybe I do too!

Only downside was that they only had adult 3D glasses which fit over my glasses rather comfortably but were rather large on my 6yr old granddaughter (wished they had smaller ones that fit her face more properly (not sure if it affected how she viewed the 3D images or not).
