This film really did a lot for the deconstruction of the traditional comic book movie, just like the comic was intended to do to the traditional comic book. It was satirical, funny, unique and poked fun at comics and human nature.
People who are saying this movie was garbage obviously don't understand sarcasm, or what the true purpose of the movie was. It's not intended to be extremely deep, it's not intended to be a great epic about superheroes. It's intended to be a skewed take on the traditional comic book, as well as the people who read them.
Watch it for yourself and keep in mind that it's not intended to meet expectations, standards or general pre-conceived notions. Keep an open mind, let yourself be entertained, and most importantly, don't be a complete imbecile with no sense of appreciation for originality.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
