Not as good as I expected, still good.

For those of us that read the book, there were many important aspects left out that would have made the movie much more emotionally grabbing, such as the preacher wasn't shown at all, the part were Blaze catches on fire was left out, it never tells that Will feels he owes Scott for saving the lives in the car crash, and several of the date scenes between Ronnie and Will which were very cute were left out. It was still a very cute movie, and the end still made me cry, but it could have been much better.
I was not impressed with Miley's acting, I think there are other actresses who would have done a much better job, but since the book and movie were written just for her, what can we do?
