my five year old didnt get everything going on. it was too much like a counter espionage plot that would get lost on the younger set. However my two eleven year olds thought it was a great plot and a lot of fun. They loved the introduction of Fin and the possibility of more adventures like 00tailpipe or goldantenna. but really they enjoyed it, but thought it was too long. Good movie for boys and girls

a well done movie, with an excellent cast of young and a few older actors, but the teens definitely carried the movie. it was exciting, at times, people, including myself jumped out of their seats, a little hokey, a la E.T. go home like, but all in all it was a very feel good movie. After you got over the hate for the military disrupting an entire town for its evil and menacing covert operations, that leaves but one sole adult trying to find the truth!! And lots of teens in the mix. Great Relationship Movie. No sex, minimal drugs ( again reminiscent of the 80's), great soundtrack. No academy award here, but an enjoyable night.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

good family movie good moral ending

a little violent however, great moral. i thoroughly enjoyed the movie as did my five year old and seven of her friends. they all had a good time in the movie and none of them thought it was too violent, so it goes to show you, mama is a little too tuff on certain aspects of films.

Exciting Fun, Engaging, Clever Action Flick

Engaging Action, Adventure Flick with a cast that works so well, that you immediately get into the characters and the story. The movie kept me involved the entire time, and there were no ho-hum moments. (except when debating whether to cut the hair or not). good fireworks sequence, and lots of shoot em up air sequences.
Definitely a fun nite.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
