Action Packed Fun

We brought our 9 year old to see this in 3D. He wasn't comfortable wearing the 3D glasses so watched without them and still enjoyed the movie. My husband and I wore the glasses and thought the 3D effects were fabulous. The movie is packed with action and good messages for kids, although when the Viking teens are being 'trained' to fight dragons I was thinking I didn't know of a parent who would put their child in such danger. But then, our village isn't constantly attacked by dragons, either. Overall lots of fun, fast moving, great 3D, no blood and gore.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
