Admittedly it would be hard to top the Technological wonder of the first Iron Man film. I was seriously concerned that I would be let down, but it wasn't. It builds on the first movie and the story lines there. Some of the characters and actors that portrayed them were ho hum to bad, aka Gary Shandling and Sam Rockwell. Rockwell does not come off as a Billionaire industrialist, he comes off as a buffoon. Actually he reminded me of the role he did from Galaxy Quest. Mickey Rourke didn't have a lot of screen time, but did very well for what he had. Don Cheadle did a great job stepping in where Terrance Howard was previously as James Roads. There is more Nick Fury, which Sam Jackson does so well.
In the end it is a fun, action filled super hero film. Admittedly I am a comic fan, but I still walked out smiling and thoroughly enjoying the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Too much action, not enough story

The movie was fun, lots of action, amazing effects -- but what it lacked was story. The original while a bit comic there was story you can follow. This new version is a homage, and the more you know of the original story helps, because the story is thin at best overshadowed by lots of action and effects. It was fun to watch, but not a classic,
