I went to the midnight showing of Eclipse and found it well worth the late night! I've read the books and noticed some changes, but found them understandable when attempting to express visually the many details gained by reading the books.
I would definitely recommend this entire series to anyone. I am so excited for Breaking Dawn, and a little bummed that it will not be out until late next year! I am hoping it is as well done as Eclipse was.

A Titan in the Making

We loved the movie. It was a wonderfully different remake. The older Clash of the Titans was so campy. Certainly enjoyable then, but to remake the movie the same way would have been a terrible waste of time and money. It had been done.
This version was action packed and larger-than-life to meet the expectations of dedicated moviegoers everywhere. This movie was not meant to be campy or comedic. It was to show the power of the Titans and their relationship with man as told throughout mythology.
I was extremely impressed with the casting. Each actor beleivably portrayed their roles. I love that Sam Worthington was cast instead of a "pretty boy" Hollywood hunk. He has a quiet intensity that proves he is a character actor. I am looking forward to seeing more from him. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes were fantastic as Zeus and Hades!
