No Sex and the Desert

I was so incredibly disappointed with this movie. This movie should be called "And the Abu Dhabi" due to its lack of sex and city. And what was the plot?
a. cheat on your husband and get a (blue) diamond
b. relationships of all sorts require space
c. Abu Dhabi is up and coming
d. Abu Dhabi isn't up and coming with its double standards and sexism
e. 1. Abu Dhabi is over a 100 degrees every day and women wear designer fashions under hijabs
e. 2. There are plenty of hijab wearing women who are content and happy to keep their bodies covered. That part of the movie in some ways made a mockery of the custom.

The movie was incredibly farfetched and had many pointless story lines that didn't go anywhere.
Nothing about this movie was cohesive. Random meet scene in the 80’s followed by a wedding and the atrocity performance of Liza, then the non sex and non city 2 hour catastrophe. (a 2.5 hour movie based on New York extravaganzas and they spent about half hour in the city!!) How did their luggage make it on the plane?

I am rolling my eyes. After hearing so many horrendous reviews, I entered the theatre with no expectations. It was just as bad as the reviews.
