Adorable movie. Everyone from my 4 yr. old son to my 14 year old daughter enjoyed this movie. I had many a giggle and the animation was wonderful. Cute story - not academy award material, but absolute fun for the whole family.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Me and my 4 kids loved this movie! Admittedly, a little slow for my 4 year old when the action slowed for plot development, but not for my older kids (9-14) or me! And my 4 year old could not stop gushing about the flying scenes - incredible animation (IMAX 3-D). You felt every beat of the wing, every gust of wind, every rain drop, the heat from the fire - the owls came to life and we believed! No blood, no gore, talons and war scenes excellently done and kept on the edge of the seat, but know your child - could be scary for some. Heart pumping, exciting and full of good morals (help the sick, the poor, those in need, follow in faith and believe in that which you can not see) and a great way to show how evil can be attractive but at such a terrible cost. Good wins! Yay!
I kept hearing "dark comedy" from the "experts" but it was just plain hilarious! I took my 4 kids plus 2 ranging in age from 4 to 13 and every one of them enjoyed it. I laughed out loud and of course loved the villian's change of heart with the adorable orphan girls. The minions were too cute and the story was never slow. Go and enjoy this movie!

All 4 of my kids loved it, even my 3 year old was transfixed. I laughed, cried and the whole theater applauded at the end. Unexpected ending and some great heart pounding action. If you loved the first two, you'll love this one, too!
