Movie critics may deride the movie for not being their vision of great art but pay no attention. The beginning was a bit slow but important for setting a mood. Once the travelers were on the road, the time flew by. Could hardly believe the three hours were up when it ended. Bilbo is almost as brilliant as Gollum. Traditional 2D was plenty good for me but friends tell me 3D HFR is the way to go. May have to give it a try.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, rivendell
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Disappointing. Mostly rehashed ideas and special effects. Sort of X-Files meets Lost Ark, with some Die Hard 4 thrown in for good measure. Ford still has the old Indy twinkle but the overall effect was more embarrassing than enjoyable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
