The storyline they included was excellent.. The actors were also great.. If I had any complaint it was the High Frame Rate 3 D.. Im not a fan of 3D anyway cause i think its just a way for the industry to milk an extra 3 bucks from the already outrageous movie prices.. But I figured I would try out and see how this new "High Frame Rate" 3D was.. I was disappointed.. It wasn't awful but it was just really weird.. everything looked almost 2 real like you could tell they were real life people in costumes.. I am going to see it again in 2D just so I can compare it.. Maybe that was Peter Jacksons plan all along to get me to pay to see the movie twice.. Hes lucky his product is just too good for me to resist.. hes like a dam drug dealer.. lol
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Cons high frame rate 3d was too wierd
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Hobbit followed by the LOTR Trilogy were the first real books I ever read. I had always hoped for a movie and the Cartoon movies although were fun while i was young didnt do the books any justice. When I finally saw the Fellowship of the Ring I knew that I could not have asked for anything better. If you did not see all 3 movies on the BIG SCREEN you have truly missed out. The special effects and battle scenes looked so real that I felt I was actually there. Seeing the extended versions on the big screen recently was a great experience. If I could have changed one thing about it that would be to put in a brief intermission. ROTK was 4 hours and 25 minutes.. Thats a long time to go without a restroom break and to stretch. and I did not want to miss any of the movie. If they ever do it again I will return and try to take those that have not experienced LOTR on the big screen. I can not wait to see the Hobbit movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
