Ritchie: Who Knew?

Now I loved Snatch, but Ritchie has proved to me with this work that he indeed deserves to be in the big leagues. RDJ=Perfect per usual; no new news there. Not a fan of Jude Law, but he was wonderful. I had a great time; fast, smart and full of visual beauty. Great acting, terrific plot and a thinking man's movie. Great ride!

There were parts of the film that really inspired/moved me and others that left me really flat....had the acting not been as good, I think my review would be horrid, but it's not.....there is something 'up' with the script, I just haven't figured out what it is. It was a good movie, but it wasn't fantastic and somehow I'm feeling torn about it. Wierd.

Star Trek

As a child during that time, we never missed Star Trek. I've seen every movie and watched every TV incarnation. I LOVED THIS MOVIE and thought it was terrific; the acting, the shooting, the story line, the direction. 2 HUGE THUMBS UP. VERY well done...! I was really pleased! I'd head such great things and knew I was going to be dissapointed; but that was not the case at all!

All Coen Brothers all the time!

IF you're a fan of the Coen Brothers and have seen all their movies; you'll really like this one. If you're not a fan of the Coen Brothers and have only seen, say 1 or 2 of their flicks, go to Blockbuster, rent them all and THEN see this! LOL It was a good ole timey afternoon at the flicks!! The last scene of this movie is one of the best last scenes of any movie ever.

This is a great, fun, hilarious movie! I can't wait for the DVD. The acting was really, really good; every character did a great job. Even the folks that only had a few lines. Segel did a wonderful job bringing this classic TV show to the screen. My Husband and I loved it. Having watched the show the whole time as kids, we were really pleased. It was much better than we thought it would be. Our only bummer is that our best friend, Lindsay Hollister (the Russian Ballerina) didn't get more screen time!
